Atomizer - old

Atomizer is a JavaScript program created to display 3D simulations of scientific theories.  The Atomizer uses the freely available "three.js" library.  Three.js is a cross-browser JavaScript library and application programming interface (API) used to create and display animated 3D computer graphics in a web browser using WebGL.

Atom Builder

The Atomizer was created to display the nucleus of atoms following Edo Kaels theory the "Structured Atom Model" (SAM).  This theory proposes that the nucleus has a defined structure, this structure "grows" predictably as the elements get larger, and the structure determines the properties of the elements.  Drupal is the back-end and stores the elements and the nuclear structure for over 300 possible nuclei.

The Atomizer enabled Edo to create and save the nuclear structure without requiring any assistance from me, the sole software developer.  He is able to quickly try different structures and compare results to the properties of the elements and see if there is a correlation.  This has been instrumental in his understanding of the theory and has advanced it greatly.

The platonic solids are unique in that they have a spherical symmetry - they are symmetrical about their center.  There are only 5 possible platonic solids.  This atomizer demo shows how all five platonic solids can be created by placing spheres at the vertices of the platonic solid.  4 of the solids are stable, however the dodecahedron has empty space and collapses if you build it.

The Structured Atom Model (SAM) proposes the primary building blocks of the nucleus are the tetrahedron and icosahedron - two of the five platonic solids.

Periodic Table

The Periodic Table of Elements depicts all the known elements and lists many of their properties.  The Atomizer implementation displays the Periodic Table and includes an image for the nucleus of each element (according to SAM).  There is no other theory about the nucleus that even attempts to show the nucleus for all elements.

One of the most important properties SAM is based on is the valence or more broadly, the oxidation state for each element.  Therefore the atomizer also displays the oxidation state for each of the elements along with several other properties.

Birkeland Current Simulator

Missing content item.

The electric universe theories propose that heavenly bodies (galaxies, stars, planets) are connected with large electric currents of charged particles.  Space is not completely empty, it includes particles and many of these are charged.

Astronomers say the solar wind is a river of charged particles.  Electrical engineers call this an electric current and know that electric currents (or moving charges) create magnetic fields.  This explains why we see so much magnetism in space.  The origins of magnetism is something conventional astronomers have yet to explain.
